  A very disappointing experience last week. One of our garage door springs broke on the Monday evening so I called on Tuesday to arrange for a replacement to be fitted. The first available time was Friday afternoon. By 2.30pm on Friday I called and was told that the driver tracking system was down and someone would call me back. I called again at 3.15pm to be told there had been a communication breakdown and that no-one was attending and they had to order more springs. I was then told the next available appointment was nearly 2 weeks away for a possible total of nearly 3 weeks without a working garage door! No phone call back from the office manager either. Thankfully another company managed to fix the issue for us by Monday at 11:00am. I would not recommend D & K based on the poor service that we have received.

  Wow, these guys were really helpful ! I needed a replacement spring for my tilt garage door asap, and they were so friendly! I called them prior to check that they had what I needed and I just rocked on in and picked it up no hassle at all. All the staff were amazing! Need more humble, down to earth companies like this one !

  Can't fault the quality of the work, which is important, but they need to be more ethical and transparent in business. A call for a warranty issue resulted in a bill for an unrequested service and an unauthorised credit card debit. If you are going to charge a fee then state it up front that regardless of warranty, you will need a service and this is how much it costs. Don't be sneaky about it. The people who answer phones also need to understand customers don't like to repeatedly hear "you would have been told " when you've just explained something totally different. Customers apparently are no longer always right, even when they are! I don't care how good the work is, if the ethics aren't there, I recommend looking elsewhere.

  Wow - super impressed with the service from these guys. Had a broken door and they came out the next day to fix it after I almost lost a finger trying to fix it myself.
  
  Pricing was reasonable (I called around, they were the same as everyone else) but man did they know their stuff! The person who had installed my door many years ago hadn't inserted the bolts required to stop it being forced open by thieves. Alan spotted this and fixed it for free. He also talked me through what he was doing (bonus!) re-programmed my remotes :)
  
  Will definitely be using these guys for all future work.

  Where do you start,
  
  Spend 3k on a garage door , for them to install it will multiple large scratches on the front panels. Would you not pick this up when installing it and choose not to finish the install. It wasn’t until I said “not happy with the quality of the work “ they removed the panels and re installed a later time. Then they re-installed the panel and it does not fit correctly and bows in and out with the heat . I sent another email about what can be done about this and the response was nothing , or glue it in place .. in which they never returned or come out to fix it . Nothing . So very dodgy. 12 months into having the door it needs a “service” . I watch a guy push two buttons and paid $143.00 for .. hmmm service much ??? Don’t waste your time or money on this company
